Skyline Attractions partnering with Great Coasters International, Inc. on Titan Track enhancements for Boulder Dash roller coaster in 2025

Bristol, CT – Skyline Attractions is proud to share its continued collaboration with Great Coasters International, Inc. (GCI) on the enhancement of the iconic Boulder Dash roller coaster at Lake Compounce.

In the third year of this exciting project, Skyline Attractions has designed and engineered more than 200’ [61 m] of additional Titan Track for Boulder Dash. This track joins 550′ [168 m] and 280’ [85 m] of Titan Track added to the ride in 2023 and 2024, respectively. These enhancements help Lake Compounce prolong the life of the award-winning roller coaster.

Designed and engineered by Skyline Attractions for GCII, Titan Track is a weld-free roller coaster track designed to improve the performance and longevity of wooden roller coaster rides. Titan Track was first introduced in 2020 and has now been successfully installed by GCII on over a dozen wooden roller coasters.

Boulder Dash’s new track consists of six steel track sections. Each section includes custom flat patterns that were generated with proprietary software developed by the Skyline Attractions team, expediting the track’s design and fabrication.

In addition to directly replacing wooden track on existing rides with Titan Track, Titan Track can also be used to enhance existing rides with new elements, including inversions and airtime hills. Titan Track can be used with existing rolling stock or new trains from GCII, including the Millennium Flyer and Infinity Flyer trains. Titan Track is also available for ground-up installations.

Joining Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce, Titan Track is also being installed in 2025 on Prowler at Worlds of Fun, Kingdom Coaster at Dutch Wonderland, and several other rides.

Skyline Attractions has also worked alongside Great Coasters International on many other recent projects, including the design and engineering of the upcoming Wild Buffalo at La Mer de Sable, Colossus at Six Flags Qiddiya City, and Mad Racers at OCT Xiangyang Fantasy Valley.
