Six Flags Fiesta Texas P'Sghetti Bowl

P'Sghetti at Six Flags

Just last month Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas announced a Racing P'Sghetti Bowl! The yet-to-be-named roller coaster is our first P'Sghetti Bowl installation and will include the Aurora LED lighting package, transforming the family-friendly ride into a dazzling display of light and color!

Zambezi Zinger

Zambezi Zinger Zooming into 2023

Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri announced Zambezi Zinger in August. We designed and engineered the hybrid ride for Great Coasters International, Inc. (GCII), including its iconic spiral lift hill, sleek Infinity Flyer trains, and low-to-the-ground track. The ride is a re-imagining of a classic coaster that previously called the park home.

Expanded Engineering Capabilities

Expanded Engineering Capabilities

Skyline onboarded a new partner, Dan Peak, PE, in March. With Dan on the team, we've expanded our engineering capabilities to include structural analysis, foundation design, and more! This has allowed us to bring more of the amusement ride design process in-house and opened new opportunities and offerings for our customers!

Brava!

First Operating Coaster in Art Museum

In October we partnered with American artist EJ Hill and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, Massachusetts on the unveiling of Brava!, the first operating roller coaster in an art museum! The ride uses the same track technology as our P'Sghetti Bowl Children's Coaster, offering a super smooth ride.

Roaring Timbers

Roaring Timbers Opened

In February, Roaring Timbers opened at Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park as Vietnam's first wooden roller coaster! We had the privilege to design and engineer this ride GCII. The twisted wooden ride is located on a tropical island and was custom-designed for the rugged terrain.

TrailRunner

TrailRunner Unveiled

Ahead of the 2022 IAAPA Expo in November we unveiled TrailRunner Family Coaster, our newest product. The family attraction is custom-designed for each location and utilizes an innovative weld-free track to cut costs, reduce maintenance, and offer an incredibly smooth ride experience.

Titan Track

Over 900' of Titan Track Installed

Over 900 feet of Titan Track was installed by GCII this year, with 450 feet in May and an additional 465 feet in December. We designed and engineered the weld-free track and are thrilled to see its rollout. In 2023 the amount of Titan Track in operation will more than double, including over 1,200 feet on Zambezi Zinger!

Skyline Pets

As a fun conclusion to each newsletter, we highlight a pet from a member of the Skyline team.

Featured this month is Stella, Skyline Director of Creative Processes Dustin Sloane's family dog. Stella is a French bulldog and loves long walks, playing fetch, and chasing the neighborhood chipmunks.
