Regina Refurbishment
Our Work
Skyline Attractions worked with Great Coasters International, Inc. (GCII) and Sanoyas Rides Corporation to refurbish Regina (レジーナ), a fan-favorite wooden roller coaster at Tobu Zoo Park in Saitama, Japan. The attraction originally opened in 2000 and features a unique layout built atop a small lake. The attraction ceased operation in 2019, but the thrilling ride returned in 2023 with a series of modifications and improvements. Peak among them was the addition of brand new trains, with a fleet of Millennium Flyer trains from GCII. These new trains will allow for a smoother ride and reduced maintenance, preserving the ride for generations of thrill seekers. Skyline was also involved in various other mechanical upgrades to the attraction, including new queue gates and brake installation.
