Skyline Attractions unveiled the concept for its largest steel roller coaster yet at the 2017 IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, USA. The Eclipse roller coaster was showcased with a large Eclipse Scale Model, which utilized 3D-printed track and train components. The double-loop ride had more cars than any other model we had fabricated at the time, requiring us to be innovative in our design methodology and fabrication methods. The scale model proved successful and continued to draw attention to the tradeshow booth year after year.
