Swamp Fox Refurbishment

Skyline Attractions worked with Great Coasters International, Inc. on a refurbishment of the classic Swamp Fox roller coaster at Family Kingdom Amusement Park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA. The ride has entertained locals and tourists alike for over 50 years, and with our design and engineering involvement it will continue to thrill riders for years to come. In addition to the replacement of approximately 280 feet [85.3 meters] of track, we were involved with the addition of new intermediate structure at specific locations along the ride path. This allowed for a smoother ride experience and reduced long-term maintenance.
