When Skyline Attractions unveiled the concept for its first steel roller coaster in 2016, it made sense to do it with style… and what better way than a functioning scale model? The miniature Skywarp Scale Model (based off the first generation of the Skywarp II) made its debut at the 2016 IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, USA. The model utilized 3D-printed track and car components and was automated to cycle every few minutes, grabbing anyone’s attention who was walking nearby. The inclusion of this scale model also began a trend of showcasing our newest attractions in miniature form every year, which has now become a staple of our space at the tradeshow.
