InvadR

Skyline Attractions worked with Great Coasters International, Inc. to design the centerline for InvadR at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. The family-friendly roller coaster opened in 2017 and was only the second GCII ride to use a steel support structure. Processes were developed during the ride’s design and construction which were duplicated across future projects.

InvadR’s design introduced a unique challenge with its hillside location and an existing log flume ride and railroad. The layout had to be adjusted to accommodate for these and to take advantage of the steep terrain.
