Cobra’s Curse Model

Ahead of its summer 2016 opening at Busch Gardens Tampa in Tampa, Florida, USA, Skyline Attractions recreated the Cobra’s Curse roller coaster in miniature for its manufacturer, Mack Rides (Waldkirch, Baden-Württemberg, Germany). The 1:120 scale model was completed in time to show-off at the 2015 IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, USA, helping generate buzz about the upcoming spinning family roller coaster.
The photo-realistic Cobra’s Curse roller coaster model showcased the complete 2,100 foot [640 meter] ride circuit, including the unique elevator lift. The model also included a segment of the adjacent Serengeti Express Train Ride, the roller coaster’s station and queue, and the surrounding areas. To emphasize the attraction’s scale and further enhance the realism, an assortment of miniature people were included on the ride and along the nearby pathways.
