Reinventing Wooden Coaster Trains.
In 2017, engineering began for something no wooden coaster train had done before. The Infinity Flyer idea started to take shape as a new platform, certified for the most demanding ride dynamics in the category: faster speeds, inverted elements, and more aggressive ride profiles.
Traditional wooden coaster trains like Millennium Flyer rely on heavy welding, which requires regular inspection, and drives up maintenance cost; the Infinity Flyer replaces that with large machined parts and bolted connections, cutting welds by 80% and reducing lifetime maintenance burden for park operators.
On a conventional train, wheel assemblies are fixed: force from curves and transitions transfers directly into the car and the rider; the Infinity Flyer’s articulated wheel assemblies pivot through curves independently, absorbing impact before it reaches the rider.
As part of the quality assurance testing, Skyline built a dedicated test track at its Orlando facility, then ran the train on White Lightning at Fun Spot America to validate real-world performance before commercial deployment.
Capable of Things Wooden Coasters Could Not Do Before.
Tighter geometry means more aggressive elements, more layout creativity, and more ride packed into a given footprint:
Minimum turn radius cut from 18 ft to 8.95 ft.
Valley radius from 25 ft to 13 ft.
Crest radius from 35 ft to 13 ft.
The hydraulic/mechanical restraint system meets EN and ASTM standards for both Class IV and Class V, the highest classification in the category, required for inversions, and enabling a minimum rider height requirement as low as 40 inches depending on ride dynamic
The Infinity Flyer installs on any existing wooden coaster, regardless of manufacturer, so parks can upgrade a classic ride to modern safety standards and expanded ride capability without tearing it down and starting over

- Infinity Flyer was installed onto Colossus at Six Flags Qiddiya City in 2025, is coming to Mirakulum in Czechia in 2027, and the pipeline for other future coasters.
