Skyline Attractions unveiled its newest compact steel roller coaster concept, Horizon, in 2017. The Horizon Scale Model utilized 3D-printed track and car components and incorporated magnets into the car design, enabling the Skyline Team to easily demonstrate how each vehicle would tilt upward to load and unload riders.
When SeaWorld San Diego in San Diego, California, USA announced Tidal Twister for the 2019 season, we refurbished our Horizon model to match the upcoming ride’s color scheme. This was done in preparation for the model to be unveiled alongside conceptual animation at the California ride’s announcement.
