Bristol, CT — Skyline Attractions is proud to share its continued collaboration with Great Coasters International, Inc. (GCI) on the enhancement of the iconic Boulder Dash roller coaster at Lake Compounce.
In the second year of this exciting project, Skyline Attractions has designed and engineered approximately 280′ [85 m] of additional Titan Track to elevate the thrills on Boulder Dash. Last year’s improvements included the introduction of 550′ [168 m] of Titan Track on the ride’s renowned hillside drop, helping the park prolong the life of the ride and offering a thrilling, smooth experience for its riders. In total, the Connecticut coaster will now sport more than 800′ [244 m] of Titan Track.
Titan Track is an innovative, weld-free roller coaster track designed and engineered by Skyline Attractions for GCI. Since its introduction on the White Lightning roller coaster at Fun Spot America in Orlando, Florida in 2020, it has been installed on over half-a-dozen different roller coasters in North America and Europe.
The latest enhancements, first shared by the park to news site CT Insider, involve the addition of more Titan Track elsewhere on the ride’s dynamic layout. This strategic partnership between Skyline Attractions and GCI underscores a commitment to preserving the legacy of these beloved rides.
As previously shared by GCI at the 2023 IAAPA Expo, additional Titan Track will also be installed on another ride in New York for the 2024 season. More details on this exciting venture will be shared at a later date.
