Skyline Attractions collaborates with Great Coasters International, Inc. to expand Titan Track on Predator roller coaster at Six Flags Darien Lake

Darien Center, NY – Skyline Attractions is thrilled to share its partnership with Great Coasters International, Inc. (GCII) on the addition of over 350’ [107 m] of Titan Track to the iconic Predator roller coaster at Six Flags Darien Lake for the upcoming 2024 season.

Continuing their successful collaboration, Skyline Attractions is providing the design and engineering expertise for the new Titan Track, while GCII handles fabrication and installation. This marks the third consecutive year of Predator receiving Titan Track, with 250’ [76 m] and 200’ [61 m] of the weld-free track added to the ride in 2022 and 2023, respectively. As of 2024, there will now be a combined 800’ [244 m] of Titan Track on Predator, more than any other roller coaster with Titan Track.

The expansion project includes the addition of 10 new steel track sections. Each section includes custom flat patterns that were generated with proprietary software developed by the Skyline Attractions team, expediting their design and fabrication. Skyline Attractions also made adjustments to the attraction’s centerline in this area, enabling a smoother and more comfortable ride experience.

In addition to directly replacing wooden track on existing rides with Titan Track, Titan Track can also be used to revolutionize existing rides with new elements, including inversions and airtime hills. Titan Track can be used with an existing rolling stock or new trains from Great Coasters International, including the Millennium Flyer and Infinity Flyer train designs. Titan Track is also available for ground-up installations.

Joining Predator at Six Flags Darien Lake, Titan Track is also being installed on Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce this year as part of a multi-year refurbishment.

Skyline Attractions has also worked alongside Great Coasters International on many other recent projects, including the design and engineering of Roaring Timbers at Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park, the upcoming Colossus at Six Flags Qiddiya, and the development of the Infinity Flyer train design.
